Dear Registered Dental Practitioners
I wish to announce that Council members have been appointed, elected, and re-elected to the Singapore Dental Council for a new term of office from 1 May 2024 to 30 April 2027.
Let me also take this opportunity to express my thanks and gratitude to the out-going Council members who dedicated their time to serve in the Council and protect the interest of the profession and safety of the public.
The Council will continue to review its policies and processes to strengthen self-regulation. We have launched a mandatory on-line Ethics Self-Assessment Exercise (ESAE) for Renewal of Practising Certificate from 2025 for dentists and 2026 for Oral Health Therapists respectively, with the aim of ensuring that all dental practitioners maintain the highest standards of ethical practice.
Thank you for working alongside the Council, looking out for one another and providing timely and valuable feedback. We look forward to your continued support.
