Expansion of Ethics Self-Assessment Exercise providers for Dental Practitioners

The Singapore Dental Council (SDC) will open the application process in January 2026 to invite Continuing Professional Education (CPE) providers to offer Ethics Self-Assessment Exercise (ESAE) from 2 May 2026.
SDC-approved CPE providers interested in offering ESAE may email SDC at sdc@spb.gov.sg for detailed guidelines. Complete applications may be submitted to SDC from 2 February 2026 onwards to be considered as a provider for ESAE from 2 May 2026.
The general processing time is at least three months, but CPE providers are advised to submit applications early as longer processing time may be needed if the proposed ESAE programme requires SDC’s further review and consideration, particularly if submitted during the Practising Certificate renewal period from October to December.
Dental practitioners should note that only ESAE offered by SDC-approved ESAE CPE providers will qualify for the ESAE core points.
