Renewing Practising Certificate for Oral Heath Therapists

Under Section 21E of the Dentist Act, registered oral health therapists are required to hold a valid practising certificate in order to practise dentistry in Singapore. The renewal of practising certificate is done on a bi-yearly basis. Letters for renewal will usually be sent to all registered oral health therapists in October during the year of renewal. The application fee for practising certificate, with a validity of two years, is $100.

It is also important to take note that a late payment fee of $20 will be imposed if application is made in less than one month before expiry of practising certificate and $50 will be imposed if application is made after expiry of practising certificate.
